I’m on a break for the summer, so enjoy this classic from the Oy archives. ~Danny
I thought I had more time to prepare for this, but then I realized that July is only a few days away, and in the interest of preserving my Sunday through Saturday rotation, starting today I’m taking a break!
That’s right, the summer is upon us and previous years have proven this to be a pretty busy time for me (not to mention the warm weather induced draining of my energy). With that in mind, for the months of July and August 2009 there will be no new Oy comics.
I will, however, be posting “Oy Classics” to tide you all over until September. These are mostly never-before-seen comics from when I was trying (and failing) to get Oy syndicated: Oy wore sunglasses, Mina had a different name, there was no Claret, and other interesting differences from those crazy times.
They will publish on Monday and Friday until I run out, though I believe there’s enough to last the summer.
So, enjoy the upcoming walk down memory lane as I take some much needed time off; tune in tomorrow for the first installment of Oy Classics.
